Obituary of Carmen Pagan Gonzalez

Carmen Pagan Gonzalez, age 62, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on December 7, 2014 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 3, 1952 as the oldest of eight children in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Tomas Gonzalez and Selenia Gonzalez. In 1967 the family relocated to Bridgeport where she graduated from Bassick High School; She is the beloved wife of Jose Pagan (Joe) whom she married in 1972; Carmen loved the Lord and served for many years as Secretary of the churches she belonged to such as the Tabernaculo, Assemblies of God in Puerto Rico and Church of Christ in Bridgeport; In addition to her husband and parents She is survived by her sons Jose Manuel Pagan, Marcos Pagan, and Daniel Pagan; her daughter Veronica Lynn Pagan; her sisters Ivette Gonzalez, Ada Nieves, and Gloria Frick; her brothers Luis Gonzalez and Jaime Gonzalez; her grandchildren Yaritza Pagan, Dominique Pagan, Alejandra Pagan, Ryan Pagan, Amanda Pagan and Angel Daniel Ramos, and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her. She was predeceased by her brother the late Tomas Gonzalez, Jr. and the late Hilda Ada Gonzalez; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. at Primera Iglesia Bautista Emanuel, 258 Harriet St, Bridgeport, CT 06608. Funeral Services have been schedule for Friday, December 12, 2014 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Primera Iglesia Bautista Emanuel. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
