We almost grew up together, always fighting, laughing, starting trouble. You were like a distant sister. Whenever you saw i was down you had a habit of saying something outrageous to make me laugh. words cant describe how much i miss you. Derrien will forever stay in my heart. the memories and love we had for each other will never be found anywhere else and thats what i regret the most. I met derrien through work and I was her nurse. We grew very close and even maintained a strong bond when he left. I spoke to her just a few days before she passed. The last thing I remember her saying to me is that she missed and loved me and hoped to hear my voice again. I am truly broken hearted. However I fin comfort that she is not hurting any more. She is not alone anymore and she is in good company that will show her love unconditionally. I wish I could have done more but I am at peace because I will never forget her or stop loving her. Rest easy baby. You are finally free....
