I am so sad to learn of David's passing. I met David in the summer of 1957 at Pinebrook Bible Camp in the Poconos. Once we returned home we wrote letters to each other several times a week for a couple of years. Over the years I thought of David often and many times thought of trying to contact him but didn't know if he was married and didn't want to cause any problems. Uncle David, I will miss you dearly. we always had great conversations on the phone and truly feel that heaven gained an angel. You will finally be reunited with you princess Daviann. To keep you here with us was not Gods plan, he has something else in store for you. One of my greatest memories of you was when you would make dinner and let me eat straight from the pot. I sometimes let my kids do the same and it takes me back everytime. since I can't be there to say my final goodbyes I feel comfort in knowing that I can reach you through the power of prayer. Cuanto siento la perdida de su querido David. Se sufre mucho cuando perdemos un ser querido. Nuestro Padre Celestial nos promete en su palabra la Biblia que habra resurreccion y nos brinda la verdadera esperanza de volver a reunirnos con nuestros seres queridos que hoy duermen en la muerte (Hechos 24:15, Juan 5:28,29). El Dios de todo consuelo se interesa por lo que nos pasa y nos promete que limpiara toda lagrima de nuestro rostro y eliminara la muerte para siempre (2 Corintios 1:3, 1 Pedro 5:7, Revelacion 21:4). No piense que Dios le quito a su ser querido, pues la realidad no es asi. Dios no se deleita con la muerte de nadie (Ezequiel 18:32) Todo lo contrario sufre tanto como nosotros nuestra perdida. El esta cerca de los quebrantados de corazon (Salmo 34:18). Conocer esas promesas me dieron mucho consuelo cuando perdi a mi padre, por eso quise compartirlas con usted y su familia. Gracias por habermelo permitido.
