As we all remember Mikey and thinking about the past times we had wth him....I can remember on Saturday just talking to him and him being so positive with his words and thoughts.....leaves me in shock that we are here today remembering him. I just want to tell him that i still love him and will see him someday so that we may remember life all over again. We as a family and as cousins need to stick together...love one another....be there for each other...care for each other....lets not wait for one of us to be gone to hear that you love me an i love you....a call....a letter....a text/emal. I sur am glad i did reach out to him and he responded that Sat. I love him for that and I will take that positive moment i had with him as the last thing I remember with my cousin Mikey.....of course thres all the crazy things we both did growing up....lol our moms don't want to hear that. lol Peace Cuz

Growing up with Mike was always very eventful you never knew what Mike was going to do next he was always getting into something. As one of his oldest cousins there are many memories that I will always treasure in my heart. Every single time I would see Mike he would always have a bump in his head or scratched up knees or something cuz he couldn't sit still. He always had a smile on his face always made u laugh even if u didnt want to like I said there are many memories. Our family DeLeon was always a very united family so every wknd we would all be together at our grandparents house for anything just so we could all be together. Although I may not be able to share this terrible moment with my family I would like them to know that my heart & my mind is there with them. I'm sorry that I'm not there with all of you. To my titi Milly I love you beyond words stay strong. To my dear cousin Mike I love you very much I hope & pray you knew this. Rest In Paradise Cuz. See You Soon!

I am sorry to read about the passing of Michael. There is a scripture that bring me comforted when I lose my Dad: "God is close to the brokenhearted" (Psalm 34:18). Please be comfort in knowing, God cares for you and will help you in your time of needs (1 Peter 5:7) He make us a promise a we have a real hope of being reunited with our dead loved ones again. (John 5:28,29). In this time of deep sorrow, God's word provide so much comfort.

As I look back & remember Mike as a young man, He was always full of energy, full of laughter always up to something most of the time good, he always meant well & considering his life story he really tried the best he could to be a good young man, the best time I shared with Mike was when he went on a Christian Retreat with our church & accepted Jesus Christ as his personnal Lord & Savior!!!I will never forget how happy he was & home much he enjoyed being around his new Christian family!! I pray that God can see his heart & that one day we shall all see him again, but not as the Mike we all knew but as the Mike that God intended him to be, full of God's Love & Mercy & Peace that only our Lord can give us!!! I remember times we (my) family shared with Mikey. I was his mentor in a program called C.A.T.C.H . Caring adults touching childrens hearts. I truley cared for him & he was such a joyful & spunky young boy. He was a part of our family very quickly. He will be missed i"m sure by many. My heart was very heavy when I recieved the news.
