Obituary of Marcelino Bayon

Marcelino Bayon, age 98, of Bridgeport, a native of Lares, Puerto Rico passed away into the Glorious presence of the Lord on August 13, 2014 in Bridgeport Manor; He is the son of the late Gregorio Bayon and the late Petra Arroyo. He had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Marcelino is survived by his children Carlos Bayon and his wife Mirta of Bridgeport, Carmen Sanjurjo of Bridgeport, Nelson Bayon and his Wife Georgina of Flushing, New York, and Haydee Bayon of Brideport; He is also survived by his grandchildren Carlos Bayon, Jr, Gerardo Bayon, Michael Bayon, Joel Sanjurjo, Alba Colon, Nelson Bayon, Jr., Miguel Bayon, and Christian Bayon; sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife the late Evangelista Bayon and one son the Late Angel Bayon; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, August, 17, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Funeral Services have been scheduled for Monday, August 18, 2014 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by interment in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT; Rev.
