I am sorry to read about the passing of Deborah. There is a scripture that bring me comforted when I lose my Dad; "God is close to the brokenhearted and He save those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). He make us a promise and we have a real hope of being reunited with our dead loved ones again (John 5:28,29). In this moment of deep sorrow, God's word provide so much comfort.
