Obituary of Cynthia Ortiz

Cynthia J. Ortiz, age 57, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on August 2, 2014 in her home. Cynthia is the daughter of Benny Rea and the late Florence Scanzillo; She was a joyful loving woman whom is married to her beloved husband Carlos Ortiz of Bridgeport; She is also survived by her son John McElroy of Kent, Oklahoma; one sister Adrienne Moore; her nephews Ben and Christian Petrocelli and her niece Jazzmine Moore; In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by one daughter the late Carleen Shrupt; and a host of other relatives and friends; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Funeral services have been scheduled for Wednesday, August 6, 2014 beginning at 10:00 A.M.
