Obituary of Elena Muñiz

Elena Muñiz, age 81, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Monday, July 28, 2014 in St. Joseph's Manor, Trumbull, CT, while surrounded by her loving family. She is the daughter of the late Ramon Caro and Mercedes. She was born in Rincon, Puerto Rico before relocating to the Connecticut area many years ago. She is the mother of two sons Albert Muñiz and Martin Muniz; one daughter Mercedes Laracuente. In addition to her children she is survived by many other relatives and friends whom will sorely miss her. She is predeceased by her husband Balbino Muñiz whom she finally reunites with. Friends may attend calling hours on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT.
