Obituary of Edelmira Marcano Hernandez

Edelmira Marcano Hernandez- (Delmi), age 88 of Bridgeport passed away into the eternal presence of the Lord on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT; Edelmira was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She volunteer as a monitor for a school bus for over twenty years. She is the beloved daughter of the late Alberto Marcano and the Late Leonor Ortiz; Delmi was a woman full of life, full of spunk and always left a mark where ever she went and whoever she interacted with. She will be sadly missed by all. She is survived by her daughters Neomi DeJesus and Evelyn Fernandez DeJesus of Bridgeport; eight grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and there great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will surely miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, June 4, 2014 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
