Obituary of Madelina Diaz Brown

Madelina Diaz (Brown), age 54, entered into eternal rest on May 21, 2014 in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bridgeport, CT. to the late Angel Cruz and the late Secundina Cruz. Madelina is the loving mother of Hector Diaz, Marisol Diaz and Joshua Buenaño; in addition to her children she is survived by her husband Lloyd Brown; her brothers Jimmy Castro (Evey), Angel Cruz (Anna), Albert Cruz (Milagros), Jose Cruz (Ari), & Roberto Cruz ; her sisters Irma (Valentin) Padilla, and Esther Cruz; her granddaughter Brooke Diaz; her faithful dog whom she considered her best friend Queenie; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. She is predeceased by her brother Pedro Castro. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lakeview cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
