Obituary of Sotera Acosta

Sotera "Gladys" Acosta, age 80, of Bridgeport was called into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2014 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT. Sotera was born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico to the late Sotoro Collazo and the late Rosario Rivera; She married her beloved husband Antonio Acosta over 60 years ago. Together they spearheaded the establishing of many churches throughout New England and were Loved by so many. Sotera is the mother of David Acosta, Daniel Acosta, Noel Acosta, Sammy Acosta, Israel Acosta, and Daniel Cruz; the grandmother to many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and will be missed by so many whom she touched throughout the years. She was predeceased by her daughter Ruth. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light funeral Home), 426 E.
