Obituary of Dominga Padua

Dominga J. Padua, age 89, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful eternal rest of the Lord on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Dominga was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She had retired from Bridgeport Hospital after working there for eighteen years. She is the daughter of the late Pio Colon and the late Julia Jimenez. She is the beloved wife of Antonio Padua whom she is been married to for sixty three years. In addition to her husband she is survived by a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT. Funeral services have been schedule for Monday, April 28, 2014 beginning with a service in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
