Obituary of Juanita Mendoza

Juanita Mendoza, age 80, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Thursday, April 18, 2014 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT; Juanita was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area some time ago. She was daughter of the late Dieguo Figueroa and Maria Figueroa. Juanita is the beloved widow of the late Pedro Gonzalez; She is survived by three sons Hector Mendoza, Gabriel Gonzalez and Pedro Gonzalez; her sister Asuncion Figueroa; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren whom will all dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, 2014 beginning at 9:00 A.M.
