Obituary of Felipe Nieves

Felipe Nieves, age 85, of Bridgeport passed away into the Glorious Presence of the Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT. Felipe was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the beloved husband of Carmen Nieves whom he married 46 years ago. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons Richard, Jose, David (Hilcia), and Joel; his daughter Isabel (Alberto); his brother Samuel Nieves; five grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 14, 2014 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral Home followed by interment in Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery, Easton, CT.
