Obituary of Rafael Maldonado

Rafael Rivera Maldonado, age 79, of Bridgeport, passed away into peaceful rest on Sunday, April 6, 2014 in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Rafael was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the beloved husband of Petra Rivera of Bridgeport; He is the father of one son Rafael Rivera Jr. (Sandra); Daughters Sara Santos (Joao), Magaly Rivera and Griselle Rivera (Angel M. Vazquez); eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. Friends may attend calling hours on Thursday, April 10, 2014, from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral Services will take Place on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home followed by interment in Mt.
