Obituary of Pablo Colon

Pablo Colon, age 87, of Bridgeport passed away into the Glorious Presence of the Lord on Saturday, April 5, 2014 in Northbridge Healthcare Center, Bridgeport, CT. Pablo was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the beloved husband of Olga Rivera whom he married 63 years ago. Together they are the parents of one Son Jorge L. Colon and his wife Linda of Florida; one Daughter Sonia Rivera and her husband Juan of Bridgeport; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; siblings Andres and Jacinta Colon; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2014 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the funeral Home followed by interment in Veterans Cemetery, Middletown, CT.
