Obituary of Ada Rodriguez

Ada Nora Rodriguez, 65, of Bridgeport, CT, suddenly passed on March 25th, 2014. Nora was born on April 23rd, 1948, in Cuba, to two loving parents, Jose Felipe and Minervina Leon of Bridgeport. Nora recently retired from Fairfield University, and looked forward to finishing her years alongside her beloved husband of 49 years, Fulgencio Raul Rodriguez. She is survived by three sons, whom she loved dearly, Misael, Eliezer, and Frambiel Rodriguez. She also leaves behind her two beloved grandchildren, Sophia and Noah Rodriguez, whom she loved beyond words. Nora also leaves behind her beloved sister and best friend, Juana Sanchez, and countless aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, whom she adored. She will be remembered as an amazing, loving, caring mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, friend, and human being. When God made you Mami, he broke the mold. We will love and remember you always Mami. The funeral home in charge of arrangements will be Funeraria Luz De Paz in Bridgeport, CT. In lieu of calling hours, services will be held at Golden Hill Methodist Church ( 210 Elm Street, Bridgeport, CT 06604) on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 10 - 11 am. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Bridgeport, CT directly after church services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send donations to the American Breast Cancer Society.
