Dear Lynelle and Family, I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Lynelle, I think about you all the time, and today I was hanging up my April bulletin board at school, with newspaper from Sunday, and I saw this picture in the obituary section, and I thought, "This woman looks just like Lynelle," and I decided to read it. Because I had moved to Puerto Rico, Gio and Gian missed out on all the fun at Titi Lucy's house: Christmas, Easter egg hunt, backyard swimming pool, hotdogs and burgers, and egg toss. Titi Lucy was well aware of this. I remember her short vacation to Puerto Rico in July. We were having dinner at Mom's house. All of a sudden she was gone. Then we heard a ho ho ho coming down the hall. In comes Lucy dressed as Santa with a bag of gifts for the boys. She was so excited giving the boys Christmas presents in July. They were ripping the Christmas giftwrap to get to those toys. This was Lucy; she wanted my boys to be part of the fun even if it was in July. Now, this wasn't the craziest thing she did. Check this one out. I went to pick her up at the airport and out she comes carrying a supersoaker water gun!!!!! It was yellow and orange and huge. I don't know how they let her carry that on board. She wanted Gio to have the biggest water gun on the street- and he did! We couldn't fill it up completely because he wouldn't be able to carry it. She was the best Titi a kid could ask for.

Wow... I have so many memories of the birthday parties and holidays that my family and I got the privilege to spend with your family and be a part of! I remember that no one could make us do silly things like Lucy could. She came up with these games that just crack me up when I think about them! The birthday where I had to dance with a broom or the Christmas that each couple would have to sing a verse to the 12 days of Christmas...I remember laughing because when Mami (Elsa) and Papi (Moncho) had their part they would forget it was their turn! Thank you for those memories! You will be remembered always Lucy!! With lots of Love...Alex
