Obituary of Noemi Caraballo

Noemi Caraballo, age 56 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 14, 2014 at St. Vincent's Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Arquelio S. Caraballo. Noemi was born in Cheshire, daughter of William Alvarez and Georgina Rivera. She was employed as a business associate for Bridgeport Hospital for many years. Noemi is the loving mother of Arquelio S. Caraballo, Jr.; the adoring grandmother of Eric Caraballo; the caring sister of Lydia Caraballo and her husband Esaul, Miriam Alvarez-Bausta, and Helen Alverez; and the aunt of Esaul Caraballo, Jr. and Luis Rodriguez. She is also survived by her goddaughters, Maria Piche and Rebecca Caraballo, and a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, March 20 from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport. On Friday, March 21, her funeral will leave the funeral home promptly at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles' Church, Bridgeport.
