Obituary of Sonia Acevedo

Sonia Acevedo, age 64, of Plantsville, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Alzheimers Research Center, Southington, CT. She was born in Las Marias, Puerto Rico before relocating to the Connecticut area many years ago. She is the daughter of Carlos Acevedo and Isabel M. Vazquez. In addition to her parents she is survived by her brothers and sisters Carlos Acevedo, Jr., Magda DeJesus, Alba Delvalle Eric E. Acevedo, Carlos E. Acevedo, and Carlos A. Acevedo; and many other friends and family who will sorely miss her. She is predeceased by brothers and a sister. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 7:00- 9:00 pm at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( Peaceful Light Funeral Home ), 426 E. Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT. Final services will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
