Obituary of Pura Rios

Pura Rios, age 85, of Bridgeport, passed away into the peaceful presence of the Lord on Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. Pura was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Connecticut area many years ago. She is the daughter of the late Zacarias Pantoja and the late Edelmira Sierra. She is the widow to the late Rafael Rios; She is survived by her son Frederick Rios; her daughters Magali Rios and Martha Piazza; her twelve grandchildren and many great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends who will sorely miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 6-9 pm at the Funeraria Luz de Paz ( Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 East Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been schedule for Saturday, December 21, 2013 starting with a gathering outside the Funeral Home at 8:30 A.M. for prompt departure to the cemetery.
