Obituary of Carmelo Lagares

Carmelo Lagares, age 76, of Bridgeport, passed away into the peaceful presence of the Lord on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in his Bridgeport residence. Carmelo was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico before relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the son of the Late Salustino Lagares and Isabel Morales; He is the beloved husband of Carmen Lagares. In addition to his mother and beloved wife he is survived by his children Nestor Lagares, Nelson Lagares, Carmelo Lagares, Jr., Lizzette Lagares, and Ivette Lagares; His seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Friends may attend calling hours on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
