Obituary of Gloria Ortiz

Gloria Ortiz, age 72 of Bridgeport, entered into the loving arms of the Lord on Sun. Nov. 10, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. She was born in Vega Alta, P.R. daughter of the late Wenceslao Martinez and Eusebia Cristina Torres, oldest of 14 siblings. Gloria is the loving mother of William Ortiz, Evelyn Figueroa, Esteban Ortiz Jr., Jose Angel Ortiz, and Jacob Ortiz; the caring grandmother of 23 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephew, and friends who will sorely miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wed., Nov. 13, 2013 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport. A Funeral Service has been scheduled for Thurs., Nov. 14, 2013 the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
