Obituary of Cynthia Grant

Cynthia E. Grant, age 72 , entered into eternal rest on Friday Nov. 8, 2013, at her home in Bridgeport. She was the beloved wife of Lynford Grant. Cynthia was born in Portland, Jamaica to Wilfred and Emeline Mellers. She is the mother of Barbara Morrison and her husband Franklin; loving stepmother of Robert, Paul, Donna, Carlene, and Yvonne Grant; caring grandmother of Maleka, Mikhail, Jeinelle, Jelica, Kareem, Patrice, Gregor, Natalie, Marlon, and Howard; and the adoring great grandmother of Tristan, Malia, and Craigor. She is also survived by her brother, Frank Melllers. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT.
