Obituary of Maria Jimenez

Maria C. Jimenez, age 95, currently of Florida passed away into the Peaceful Rest of the Lord on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in her Florida residence surrounded by her loving family. Maria was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico to the late Manuel Figueroa and her mother. She is survived by her son Justino Jimenez from Florida; her 17 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, many great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. She is predeceased by her husband Cruz Jimenez, and also her children Cruz Jimenez, Jr., Hugo Jimenez, Hayddea M. Jimenez, and Magda Jimenez. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 7 P.M.- 9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been schedule for Tuesday, November 5, 2013 starting at 10:00 A.M. with a Funeral Mass at St. Charles Church. Followed by Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford, CT.
