Obituary of Carmen Lopez

Carmen A. Lopez, age 84, currently of Stratford passed away into the Peaceful Rest of the Lord on Thursday, September, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Carmen was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico to the late Jose Lopez and the late Amelia Concepcion, but had relocated to the Stratford area many years ago. She is survived by her sons Angel Alvarado, Honrado Alvarado, Victor Alvarado, Antonio Alvarado, and Pedro Rojas; Her daughters Maria Tosado, Juana Perez, Maria Quintero, and Milagros Quintero; Many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, many great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. She is predeceased by her son Victor Alvarado. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on September 8, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 9, 2013 beginning at 10:00 A.M. in St. Augustine Cathedral for a Funeral Mass.
