Obituary of Jose Flores

Jose E. Flores, "Chico-Chino", age 47, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord suddenly on Thursday, August 22, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital; Jose was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to the late Celestino and the Late Paula Flores but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He was an avid lover of Salsa music and could not spend a day without hearing and enjoying his Latin Rhythms. He is survived by his long time girlfriend Carmen Rivera, his daughter Anita Flores of Bridgeport; his brothers Antonio Flores, Celestino Flores and Reinaldo Flores; his sisters Rosa L. Morales, Ana I. Flores and Angelita Bermudez; One grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss him. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Roberto Flores; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( Peaceful Light Funeral Home ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Final disposition will be private at the convenience of the family.
