Obituary of Carmen Mestre

Carmen Mestre, age 105, currently of Stratford passed away into the Peaceful Rest of the Lord on Friday, July 26, 2013 in her home while surrounded by her loving family. Carmen was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area since approximately 1948. She is the widow of the late Jaime Mestre; She is survived by her Children, Luis Mestre, Jaime Mestre, Antonia Mestre and Pedro J. Mestre; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home),. 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by interment in Mt.
