Obituary of Jose Rivera

Jose Rivera, age 87, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. Jose was born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico before relocating into the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the beloved widower of the late Aida Rivera Llera; He is survived by his sons Jose A. Rivera, William Rivera, Raymond Rivera and Thomas Rivera; Daughters Carmen M. Rivera, Antonia Fourtin, Rosaura Acevedo and Miosotis Rivera; twenty two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, July 18, 2013 beginning at 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Final disposition will be private at the convenience of the family.
