Obituary of Isabel Mercado

Isabel Mercado, age 80, of Bridgeport passed away into the Presence of the Lord on Saturday, June 22, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital while surrounded by her loving family; Isabel is the daughter of the late Juan Mendez and the late Maria Caban. She is survived by her sons Jimmy Acevedo, Peter Rodriguez, Nicholas Rodriguez, Charles H. Rodriguez, Cecilio Rodriguez, and Jorge Rodriguez; his daughter Elisa Rodriguez; his five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 10-1 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
