Obituary of Herminio Villafane

Herminio Villafane, age 68, of Stratford, CT beloved husband of Carmen Maria Muñiz entered into eternal life with the Lord on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at St. Vincent's Medical Center while surrounded by his loving family. Herminio was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico to the late Herminio Villafane Polonco and the late Gloria Ramos. In adiition to his wife he is survived by his sons Nelson Villafane (Wendy), Tony Villafane (Olga), and Herminio Villafane, Jr., (Adaliz); his brothers Wilfredo, Ramon, Ricardo, and Guillermo; his sisters Maritza, Zoridia, Gloria, Anna, Blanca, Luz, Genoveva, and Ramona; his grandchildren Joshua, Anthony, Jazmin, Kyriana, Aaliyah, Brandon, and Nelson, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. He is predeceased by Jose Luis and Gonzalo. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been schedule for Thursday, June 27, 2013 beginning at 10:30 A.M. with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford, CT. Immediately followed by Interment at St. Michael's Cemetery.
