Obituary of René Garcia

Rene Garcia, age 34, of Bridgeport, passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Monday, June 3, 2013 in his Bridgeport residence. Rene was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Juan Garcia and Esther Garcia from Bridgeport. In addition to his mother he is survived by his son Rene Garcia, Jr.; his sisters Bianca Garcia from Stratford and Zuleimy Garcia Hernandez from Puerto Rico; his grandmother Evangelista Perez Soler from Bridgeport; his niece Rahmie Shanice Gonzalez; his nephews Wilfredo Marrero, Jr., Carl Capers, and Raymond Gonzalez, Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. He is predeceased by his brother Juan "Pete" Garcia and his sister Nina Shanice Garcia. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport. CT. Funeral Services have been schedule for Monday, June 10, 2013 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. George Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery.
