Obituary of Modesta Candelario

Modesta Candelario, age 67, of Bridgeport departed her earthly life after a brief illness at St. Vincent's Medical Center on December 21, 2011. Modesta was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico to the late Diego Torrens and the late Maximina Candelaria before relocating into the Bridgeport area. She is the widow of the late Candido Candelario Sr; She is survived by her sons Candido Candelario Jr. of Bridgeport, Noel Candelario ( Janice ) of Bridgeport and Rene Candelario (Cynthia) of Virginia; his daughters Lillian Rivera (Edwin) of Bridgeport, CT and Nilda Thomas (Clarence) of Stratford, CT; three brothers, two special sisters Leonor and Mercedes; 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends who will sorely miss her.
