Obituary of Gloria Reyes

Gloria Ester Reyes, age 73, of Bridgeport passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on May 8th, 2013 with her loving family by her side at Saint Vincent's Hospital. Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on May 30, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Arturo Orozco and Virginia Perez. Gloria relocated to Bridgeport, CT, in 1954 and has resided in Bridgeport for 59 years. She is the beloved wife Angel Luis Reyes, Sr., of 55 years; In addition to her husband she is survived by her son Edgar Reyes; daughter Wanda Hernandez and husband, Ramon Hernandez; as well as sister Lydia Reyes, and husband, Luis Angel Reyes; and her devoted children, and niece, Ivette Reyes, and her husband, Jimmy; and grandchildren, Adriana Marie Reyes, Gloria Liz Reyes, Angel Reyes III, Joshua Gonzalez, and Ivette Mercedez Hernandez; and four great-grandchildren, as well as her niece Ivette (Ivy) Reyes and nephew Angel L. (Cano) Reyes. She is predeceased by her late son, Angel Reyes Jr. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Augustine's Cathedral on Friday, May 10, 2013 beginning at 1:30 P.M.
