Obituary of Edel Berrios

Edel Berrios, age 80, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Felix Berrios Sr., passed away into the peaceful presence of the Lord on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital while surrounded by her loving family. Edel was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico to the late Jesus Torres and the Late Julia Marquez prior to relocating to the local area many years ago. Edel was faithful to the Lord and served him for many years. She was a graduate of the Instituto Biblico Latinoamericano where she received a degree in Biblical Studies. Edel is survived by her son Felix Berrios Jr. and his wife Ruth ; her daughters Edna Silva and her husband Fausto and Edith Judith Castillo and her husband Jose; eight Grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss her; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. until end of Service at the Good Shepherd Christian Church, 725 Hancock Avenue, Bridgeport, CT; Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 beginning at 9:00 AM at the church followed by interment in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT; Please sign our online Book of Memories where you may share your thoughts, memories, prayers, pictures and so much more and is found EXCLUSIVELY at www.luzdepaz.com.
