Obituary of Maria Perez Luna

Maria Perez Luna, age 82, passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on May 4, 2013 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Maria was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, but relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago since the late 50's. She is the daughter of the late Pablo Perez and the late Martina Mercado. Maria was employed for many years at the Casco Company before she retired; She is the wife of Eusebio "Cheo" Luna. In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons Edwin Luna, Miguel A. Luna, and Hector Luna; her daughters Evelyn Luna de Santiago, Marisol Luna Miranda, and Elizabeth Maldonado; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. She was predeceased by her son the late Jose Doran; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 6-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral Services have been schedule for Thursday, May 9, 2013, beginning at 9 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by a mass of Christian Burial at St George's Roman Catholic Church at 10 A.M.
