Obituary of Maria Diaz Rivera

Maria Elisa Diaz Rivera "Isy", age 80, passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on March 24, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. Maria was born in Naranjito, Puerto Rico, but relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the daughter of the late Jose R. Diaz and the late Manuela Rivera. She is survived by her son Christopher Rodriguez of Bridgeport; her daughter Marlene Crespo of Monroe; her grandchildren Lisa Crespo- Gerald, Leticia M. Crespo, Angel Rodriguez, Lucimar Rodriguez, Alex Padilla Jr., Sarah Padilla, Abel Padilla, Rene Rodriguez, Christopher Rodriguez Jr., DelaLiz Rodriguez, and Betty Rodriguez; her great grandchildren Travis Luis Gerald, Trevor Alexie Gerald, Jaden M. Villanueva, Adrian Villanueva, Titus Rodriguez, Mira Rodriguez, Michael Garcia, Xaniel Rivera, Jeremiah Castillo, Maya Rodriguez, and Jaydel; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. She is predeceased by her husband the late Cristobal Elias Rodriguez and her son the late Alex Padilla.
