Obituary of Ivis Rodgerson

Ivis Rodgerson (Aponte), age 44, entered into eternal rest at her home in Derby. She was born in Bridgeport, CT to Iris R. Cuevas and the late Domingo Aponte. She is survived by her daughters Iris Aponte and Destiny Rogerson; her siblings Edwin Aponte, Jorge Colon, Nissa Aponte, Emily Aponte, and Silka Colon; her granddaughter Athena Rivera. She was predeceased by her grandson, Zeus Rivera. Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 11a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a service following at Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport. Her burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
