Obituary of Gloria Soto

Rev. Gloria E. Soto, age 72, currently of Orlando, Florida, passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on February 27, 2013 in her home while surrounded by her loving family. Rev. Soto was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, but relocated to the Bridgepoort area in 1953 along with her parents. In 1977 she relocated to Bayamón, Puerto Rico with her husband and six children. Finally in 1992 she relocated to the Orlando, Florida area. She Loved the Lord and the Souls she ministered to for many years. She is the daughter of the late Ramon Velazquez and the late Rosa J. Velez. She is survived by her husband Rev. Fernando Soto of Orlando, Florida; her sons Alexander Maldonado, Eugene Maldonado and Fernando Soto; her daughters Arlene Maldonado, Marlene Miranda and Jocabed Gonzalez; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 7- 9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz ( Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 East Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT. Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, 2013 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
