Obituary of Efraim DeLeon

Efraim DeLeon, age 69, of Bridgeport passed away into the eternal rest of the Lord on Thursday, February 14, 2013 in St. Vincent's Medical Center; Efraim is the son of the late Fernando DeLeon ahd the late Josefina Santana; He was employed for over 27 years at the United Illuminating Company where he retired from; He loved walking, Fishing, Hiking and was a wonderful sportsman in every possible way. Every morning he would drop his grandchildren off at school and head to the mall to walk. He is the beloved husband of Sonia Cardona of Bridgeport; In addition to his wife he is survived by his Sons Joey and Philip DeLeon; Daughters Debbie Berrios, Paula Acevedo, Michelle DeLeon and Jennifer Delgado; His stepdaughters who he loved as his own Ynette, Tania and Diana Ortiz; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren who will dearly miss him. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son the Late Efraim DeLeon Jr.; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( Peaceful Light Funeral Home ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Final disposition will take place at a later time at the convenience of the family.
