Family love is the quality which I will fondly remember in the life story of Ana Perez. I first met Mrs. Ana Perez at the elementary school graduation party of her Granddaughter, Cynthia. Her warm and very loving home and entire front yard was made available for the party, so that she, too, could join in the fun. She beamed as her Granddaughter Cynthia along with family, fellow graduates, teachers, and friends ate, chatted and listened to music coming from the speakers near her garage. She welcomed all to eat and have seconds, thirds and more! Sharing of food is a well-known tradition of welcoming others. Mrs. Perez definitely passed this tradition to her children. They cooked her favorite from-the-heart recipes to the delight of all. In addition to the food and music, above all, her friendliness was felt as soon as one stepped onto her front lawn. Her love was felt when she greeted each guest from the porch. She made certain that everyone had a seat, a filled plate and was comfortable. Although it was a hot day, she was fanning herself and remained outside on the porch to enjoy the party scene. Now that is love for family. One senses the family love when you listen to her children and grandchildren talk about her. Her services will surely embody this love for her family as they, in turn, honor and recall their favorite memories shared with their dear Ana. Her blessings will be with them as they journey through life experiences. Her love goes on through them.
