Hello Awilda, It's hard to even imagine what to say in times like this, except I am sorry for your loss. Highly favored daughter of the living God, He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you! He is so good and has made provision for such times as this. When mere words cannot bring comfort, pray anyway because we have been provided a Comforter, the Holy Spirit will make intercession on your behalf. He will take your pain and make it into something beautiful. May His blessings pour out into your heart, bring you comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding. You are deeply loved.

I had know tomas for many years. He was a member in my job. I always like to talk to him about God. We would share different stories about God. One thing is for sure that he is finally in the Lord's presence. He loved Jesus so much. He always said "God is good" in good times and bad times. I know that he was a great son he would always share stories about his father with me. He will always be in my heart as a great man of God. Today I know that he is with my Lord for sure. He loved him so much and I am sure that Jesus came down to take him in his arms. Tomas I will see you in Heaven...Adios Que Dios te bendiga mucho...

What words can I say that can describe Tommy (my cousin). I remembered when I arrived from New York, he took me under his wing, and told me everything was going to be ok. We used to live in Mr. Katz building on State Street and he came by every day and game me a hug. Those hugs were so powerful. We always met at the Beardsley park when I used to play softball and you help me practice throwing the balls up high and had me chasing them and laugh until our hearts were content. When you got marry to Awilda remember by the pool side, I thought it was awsome. I always said what a wonderful woman you married. After the years we distant a little but every time we saw each other, there was that HUGE BEAR HUG. You have always been my inspiration. You taught me that everything in life is possible no matter what we find in our path. Your smile will always live in my heart. "GOD SENDS US SPECIAL PEOPLE WHO MAKE OUR LIVES SEEM BRIGHTER, FOR YOU HAVE A VERY SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART. THANK YOU...

I had a client in the hospital that I had visited. I did not know that Tommy when to visit the client as well. In talking to the client, it came up that he had a visitor, whom he really did not know, but took the time to visit him. The client was happy and he stated that he made a new friend, even if for a short while. He stated that he saw and felt it in his heart that his new friend was a man of great compassion and kindness. He was happy to have met him. I said to myself how amazing how we can touch a life with a small act of kindness, when even at times, we do not even know it. He continued to tell me about the visit and I continued to wonder who this man could have been. After a short while, the client told me that he was Awilda Gonzalez's husband; at that moment I realized who he was taking about. At that moment, I envisioned his smile in my mind and I imagined the whole visit. I never told the client that I knew his new friend, but I did assure him that he must have been a great person; knowing in my heart that he most certainly was. I now realize that nothing could ever change that, not even physically leaving this world. I am sure he is smiling down at us from heaven, just as he made my client smile. That was Tommy; Rest In Peace
