Obituary of Gladys Hernandez

Gladys Hernandez, age 75, of Bridgeport passed away into the precious peaceful rest of the Lord on Wednesday, January 23, 2012 in her Bridgeport residence. Gladys was born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is now able to reunite with her beloved husband the late Victor Hernandez. She is the daughter of the late Pascual Hernandez and the late Jovita Alvaraz. She is survived by her son Victor Hernandez Jr.; her daughters Gladys Hernandez and Evelyn Moran and her husband Ricardo; her seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Funeral services have been scheduled for Monday, January 28, 2013 beginning at 9 A.M. directly at Blessed Sacrament Church, Bridgeport, CT.
