Obituary of Ramona Marquez

Ramona Marquez, age 69, currently of Bridgeport, passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, CT while surrounded by her loving family. . Ramona was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico to the late Juan and Late Carlina Cruz , but had relocated to the Bridgeport Area many years ago. She is survived by her Sons George Marquez, and John P. Marquez; Her daughters Ramona Marquez, Rosemary Marquez, and Elizabeth Morales; Her Siblings Blanca Medina, Carmen Wallace, William Cruz, and Yolanda Ortega; Her sixteen grandchildren, and her nine Great Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport. Funeral Services have been schedule for Friday, January 18, 2013 beginning Directly at St Augustine's Cathedral at 10:30 A.M. followed by Interment at St. Michael's Cemetery.
