Obituary of Maria Amelia Alves Cardoso

Maria Amelia Alves Cardoso, age 78, currently of Portugal, but had resided in the Bridgeport area many years, passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2012 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT while on vacation; Maria was born in Portugal to the late Joao Alves Moreira and the late Adelaide Jesus Guerra; Maria is survived by two daughters Stella Esteves and her husband Jose of Monroe, CT and Ana Vieira and her husband Manuel of Shelton, CT; her grandchildren Erika, Kimberly, Kevin and Kayla; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, January 6, 2012 from 4-7 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
