Obituary of Acefait Antoine

Acefait Antoine, age 68 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on February 2, 2020 at St. Vincent's Hospital. He was born in Gonaives, Haiti; ;son of the late Lormus Antoine and Orelia Merville prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Acefait was a dedicated and hard worker; who made providing for his family his number one priority. He loved watching soccer and traveling; and was always available to lend a helping hand. Most of all, Mr. Antoine loved his family and friends, who will sorely miss him. Acefait is the loving father ofVladmir Antoine, Angeline Antoine, Marie Antoine, Madeline Antoine, and Antoinette Antoine; the caring grandfather of 21 grandchildren; and the brother of Lamercie Geline, Mone Antoine and Alcein Antoine, and Tatine Antoine. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 9 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 391 Ogden St. Bridgeport, CT 06608.
