Obituary of Hector Muñiz

Hector Muñiz, age 59 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at his residence, surrounded by love. Hector is the husband of Jennie Muñiz. He was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico; son of Modesto Muñiz and the late Maria Alicea Cornier prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Hector Served as the Pastor of Lighthouse Fellowship Church for over ten years and his Light and belief in the Lord will be felt for years to come. He is the loving father of Ramon Trujillo, Anthony Barrios, Jessica Muñiz Martinez and Jennie Rodriguez; the adoring grandfather of Jose A. Martinez, Romero Jones, Alyvia Barrios, Anthony Barrios and Jeremiah Rodriguez; and the caring brother of Migdalia (William) Muñiz Horr, Marixa Muñiz, Magdalena Muñiz, Angel Lopez (Gloria Acevedo), and Omar Lopez. Along with his parents, Hector is predeceased by his sister, Maria Alicea Muñiz. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020 from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. at the Faith & Hope Apostolic Ministries, 1475 Noble Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06610.
