Obituary of Gerard Benjamin

Gerard Benjamin, age 72 of Stratford entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 24, 2020. He was born in Haiti; son of the late Leonce Benjamin and Delivrencia Benjamin prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area. Gerard loved playing the piano and was a true jokester. He is the father of Shedeline Benjamin; adoring grandfather of Kyler and Kanye Jean Baptiste; and the brother of Monine Benjamin, Baptiste Benjamin, Garry Benjamin, and Goda Benjamin. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Shekinah Free Methodist Worship Center, 383 and 365 E Washington Ave, Bridgeport CT 06608. His interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
