Obituary of Ana Santana

Ana Delia Santana, age 67 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020 at Bridgeport Hospital. She is the beloved wife of Jose R. Santana. Ana was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Herminia Diaz and Jose Martinez prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She enjoyed shopping and cooking, but most of all, Ana enjoyed getting her hair and makeup done. More than anything, Ana loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She also was a valued and dedicated member of her church, who truly loved and cultivated her relationship with the Lord. Ana is the loving mother of Ana Miriam Santana, Jessenia Santana, and Jose Miguel Santana; the grandmother of Jonathan, Anthony, Luis Enrique, Ashley Nicole, Jomar Eliel, and Luis Jose; the sister of Milton Martinez, Zora Martinez, Ramiro Martinez, Ruben Martinez, Jose Martinez, Edison Martinez, Celestino Martinez, and Leticia Martinez. She is also survived by many other family members and friends that will sorely miss her. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Monday, January 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608.
