Obituary of Ermys Lugo

Ermys Lugo, 80, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on Thursday, January 9,2020 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born in San German, Puerto Rico to the late Eloina Matos and the late Eduardo Lugo. She was also predeceased by her beloved, Alejandro Alicea. Ermys worked for the City of Bridgeport for many years as an intake worker. Her true career was serving the Lord as she was dedicated to saving souls especially throughout the east side of Bridgeport. Ermys enjoyed singing God"s praises and preaching his word. She is the loving mother of Alex Alicea, his wife Lisette Garcia, Carlos Alicea and Ernesto Alicea, the adoring grandmother of Carlito Jr., Daniel, Dignora, Bianca and Ashley Alicea. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Sunday, January 12 from 4PM to 7PM at the Funeraria Luz de Paz 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608. Interment will take place on Monday, January 13 at 10 AM DIRECTLY at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport CT 06610.
